Registered non-profit association · Berlin

Our activities

Our statutes define how the association pursues its purpose – not through abstract declarations, but through concrete forms of work. This page gives an overview.

Educational events and seminars

We plan, organise and deliver educational events, seminars, workshops and conferences on intercultural education, European integration and international understanding. Our focus is on non-formal education methods that actively involve participants rather than merely lecturing them.

Exchange and dialogue programmes

Cultural exchange and dialogue programmes bring together people from different countries and cultures to foster mutual understanding and respect. Encounter is not an end in itself: people who work on a task together get to know each other in a way no panel discussion can achieve.

Information and educational materials

We develop and distribute information and educational materials and run awareness campaigns on diversity, coexistence and European values.

Publications and public relations

Through publications and public-relations work in the spirit of civic education, we contribute to strengthening democratic life.

Volunteering and mentoring

We promote civic engagement through volunteering programmes, mentoring and networking – with particular attention to disadvantaged groups, for whom access to such opportunities is usually hardest.

Cooperation

The association cooperates with civil-society organisations, educational institutions and public bodies at regional, national and European level to promote joint education and understanding projects.

European funding projects

Applying for and implementing funding projects – in particular within European programmes such as Erasmus+ – is explicitly anchored in our statutes. More about our Erasmus+ work
