Become a member
Membership of the association is open to any natural or legal person who supports its goals – explicitly independent of nationality and place of residence. That small statutory detail says a lot about how we understand solidarity.
How to become a member
- Write to us. Send a short message to solidaritatev@web.de with the subject "Membership" and a few lines about yourself and your motivation.
- Application form. We will send you the written membership application. Under § 4 of the statutes, admission takes place upon written application.
- Board decision. The board decides on admission. You will then receive confirmation of your membership.
Rights and obligations
Participation
Members take part in all major decisions through the general assembly – the supreme body of the association: from electing the board and setting membership fees to amending the statutes.
Fees
Membership fees are collected from members. Their amount and due dates are set by the general assembly and regulated in a fee schedule (Beitragsordnung).
Ending membership
Resignation must be declared in writing to the board and is possible at the end of any month, subject to one month's notice.
The association is in its start-up phase. The first fee schedule will be adopted by the general assembly; until then, we inform interested persons about the current status on request.
